Here’s what’s happening in FaithKids:

34K- these 3 and 4 year olds and Kindergartners are learning about the Tower of Babel, Abraham, Isaac and Rebekah from The Gospel Project curriculum. This curriculum teaches children that Jesus is in the whole Bible...not just the New Testament!

Elementary- the 1st-5th graders are wrapping up the last 3 weeks of 40 Days of Prayer. So far they have learned that Prayer is: talking to God, having a relationship with God and giving praise and thanks. Check out a couple of pictures from week 2 when we made Paul and Fayza into Tabernacles.

Pioneer Girls- the girls in grades 1st-6th meet on Wed. evenings from 7-8:15. This a fun time of learning God’s word, doing some crafts and Bible memory. There will be NO Pioneers on Wed. Oct. 31st.

This September the Network is focusing on becoming a bit more eco-friendly. We recently purchased a large brand new energy efficient freezer which will replace some of our ancient energy sapping freezers.  In addition, Giant graciously donated about 75 reusable grocery bags for our patrons. We hope to eventually eliminate the use of plastic bags all together. Please let us know if you have any other ideas as to how we can improve in this area.
